You just cannot go to California without splurging and taking at least one day at Disneyland. Kelsey and I had a blast and had a really different day there. With just the two of us and our favorite ride closed that day (Space Mountain), we did some exploring. We found some new places and even discovered the bears from the Old Bear Country set that I remembered as a kid. They were pretty silly and Kelsey was thrilled to add them to her autograph book. She was not interested in Mickey or Cinderella or any other character that she already had in her book from previous visits. We spent less time in lines for autographs than ever before. She loved going shopping of course in all the shops, tried on hats, and necklaces and such. We even took time to ride the river boat which we have never made the time for in the past. She absolutely loved the calmer non rush trip. It was extremely hot again this day and we enjoyed frozen lemonade and a nice sit down lunch. It truly was a great mommy/daughter day capped off by Miss Rachel joining us after work.
