Recital 2012

The long awaited recital finally came and really all that means to Kelsey is that now we can go to Utah!  She is so excited about the upcoming Utah trip.

Kelsey took a tumbling class this year that was taught by Miss Chantrelle.  She LOVED it!  She only went twice a month as she attended Activity Days the other two Tuesday nights.

Recital day meant wearing our hair in sponge rollers as with Mommy Paige an instructor at the studio, we have to be to the rehearsal WAY too early.  It made us feel better when we picked up Allison to find that she too was sporting “spongies” in her hair.  Her mom Victoria was running a half marathon and so we had the privilege of bringing Allison along as well.  The girls were great and we did hair and make-up on the lunch break.  Hair turned out great and they performed awesome!  I am also super proud of Kelsey for recognizing that her costume was inappropriate and she asked me to talk to her teacher about that.  Thank goodness we have a teacher that is flexible and allowed us to place a leotard underneath!
