Goats, trains, and cookies, oh my!

The winter/spring rainy weather has about drove all us Washingtonians CRAZY this year and since we had been stuck in the house due to potty training, I jumped at the chance with a break in the rain to make our first outing with Spencer in his "UNDERWEAR"....LeeAnn, Tate, and Blake were up for joining us and we made a quick call to my friend Deana who has goats, dogs, and chickens at her place in Black Diamond.  The boys were in heaven feeding them pears, and banana skins.  Baby Blake enjoyed eating some fresh compost (lovely) and Tate and Spencer thought the goats were plenty entertaining.  One of the goats went potty on the ground and Spencer was quick to tell the goat that you don't go potty on the ground, you go potty in the potty or else you will go to time out!  That was such a crack up, cause suddendly he was the "Potty Expert"....and for the record, no I don't threaten Spencer with "Time Out" if he goes potty on the ground.   So happy to have friends with animals, it pleases my children to visit their place and makes for a truly fun outing.  Kelsey loves Miss Deana and would have been so sad if she knew we had gone without her.

After leaving Deana's place, we decided to head over to the Black Diamond Bakery for a sugar cookie and it just so happened that the train depot and museum was also open.  The boys had a blast blowing the train whistle and running through the train cars.  It was a lovely, un-planned, but perfect play-date.  The best part, Spencer made it the entire time without any accidents...YIPPEE

Hungry, Hungry Hippos oh I mean GOATS, can those necks stretch any further?
A Barrel of Fun...this was the bucket of fresh compost that Blake was having a blast with.

Not the best of picture of them with their cookies, but they were enjoying them so much, that cooperating for a picture was just not in the cards.
