Our friends Mary and Jerry Roundy’s youngest daughter Jessica was getting married. Mary was in the planning stages for the wedding and was quickly becoming overwhelmed. My good friend LeeAnn approached me about seeing if we wanted to give a proposal to Mary for doing the luncheon following the temple ceremony? It has been a few years since I’ve done any catering, but thought it might be fun to surprise Mary with a few finishing touches and make the day a little less stressful and enjoyable for her and the rest of the guests.
The luncheon was on the “simple” side, but still very nice. LeeAnn and I had fun coming up with a menu, having Holly with www.preppylaneboutique.com do the pintables and labels and coming up with a nice table setting. We had fun working together and thought for a last minute type of event that it turned out great.
