Sing a Song, Sing out Loud, Sing out Strong

Thursday, February 17th was the Sawyer Woods Elementary School 2nd grade music program.  This is always such a treat because it is really the only program our kids get to participate in during the school year here in Washington.  Due to holidays not being celebrated in school and such, our kids really miss out on doing programs and learning songs.  So, this is really their only time to shine and perform.  This year they did songs about different stories and the two that I remember were the Grouchy Ladybug (Kelsey was very good at making a grouchy face, even though she didn't like it.  She would rather be happy all the time) and Cha Cha Chimps.  It was a delightful program and Kelsey loved playing the instruments.  We as parents always get a kick out of watching the kids. There are always those who need to go potty, those who pick their nose, those who sing too loud, and those that don't sing at all.  Thanks for the entertainment 2nd graders!
